The Role
Join SEEK’s engineering teams as a Senior Software Engineer, where you’ll build scalable solutions, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence. You’ll work autonomously within cross-functional squads, contributing to products that serve millions across the APAC region.
What You’ll Do
- Build, test, and deploy cloud-first software using modern engineering practices
- Mentor and guide other engineers while strengthening team capabilities
- Drive platform health through reliable, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineering teams across SEEK
- Participate in on-call rotations and operational support
- Contribute to communities of practice and continuous learning initiatives
What You Bring
- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
- Strong experience with AWS cloud applications and API development
- Expertise in CI/CD, testing practices, and secure coding
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and production support
- Background in Test-Driven Development and clean code practices
- Proven mentoring and knowledge-sharing abilities
- Data-driven decision making approach
