Cybersecurity Consultants / CHECK Team Lead Pentesters

Location: UK Wide (Remote Working)

As a Cyber Security Consultant, your role involves simulating attacks to uncover and report security vulnerabilities. Demonstrating the ability to proactively take charge, swiftly adapt to new challenges, and navigate high-pressure scenarios is essential.

To be considered for the Cyber Security Consultant position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Current SC Security Clearance:

   • You must hold current SC (Security Check) clearance due to the nature of the work involving sensitive information.

2. CTL/CSTL and CRT (preferred) or QTSM:

   • Possession of CTL (CHECK Team Leader) or CSTL (CHECK Team Member) qualifications is mandatory.
   • CRT (CREST Registered Tester) or QTSM (Qualified Security Team Member) certifications are preferred.

3. Industry Experience:

   • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, demonstrating a strong foundation in information security practices.

4. Knowledge of Industry Standard Tools:

   • Familiarity with a range of industry-standard tools, both commercial and open source, for conducting penetration testing and security assessments.

5. Linux and Virtualization Skills:

   • Proficiency in the preferred flavor of Linux and a strong understanding of virtualization platforms.

6. Technical Diagnostic Skills:

   • Demonstrated technical diagnostic skills, showcasing the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.

7. Attention to Detail and Quality:

   • A keen attention to detail, ensuring thorough and high-quality work in penetration testing and reporting.

8. Communication Skills:

   • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying findings, writing reports, and presenting to clients.

9. Time Management:

   • Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a high-pressure environment.

10. Thought Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Willingness to contribute to thought leadership through social media platforms and industry events.
    • Collaborative mindset to work effectively within an international team.

11. Continuous Learning and Development:

    • Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated on the latest vulnerabilities and advancements in the cybersecurity field.
    • Willingness to specialize in either application or infrastructure testing and pursue relevant certifications to advance your career.

12. Pre-sales Support:

    • Capability to support pre-sales functions, including scoping and addressing technical inquiries from potential clients.

13. Database Management:

    • Maintain an internal database of findings, contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes related to testing and reporting.

14. Representational Skills:

    • Represent Resillion at events, giving talks, and presentations to showcase the company’s expertise in penetration testing services.
