Rincon Consultants is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and results-oriented Recruiter with a proven track record who will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting. Within our team, the Recruiter plays a pivotal role in sourcing and attracting culture enhancing top talent. We are seeking someone with recruiting experience in the environmental consulting field, ideally with established connections in the industry. As part of the People and Culture team, the Recruiter provides collaborative, high-touch support to our hiring managers.

While this role may offer flexible work arrangements that can include a mix of in-office and remote work, our changing business needs will ultimately determine our level of remote-work flexibility. Additionally, to promote in-person collaboration and client teaming, we prioritize hiring those who reside within 50 miles of a Rincon office which currently includes: Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides direct full-cycle recruiting support for hiring teams, including all aspects of the talent acquisition process: job posting and development, sourcing, application and resume review, screening, scheduling and/or conducting interviews, candidate tracking, and communication with candidates and hiring managers
- Works as a strategic business partner with hiring leaders to design, build, and implement innovative and successful recruitment strategies to proactively build and track passive and active talent pipelines of skilled and diverse candidates
- Organizes kick-off meetings with the hiring team to earn trust, understand their staffing needs, proactively providing recruitment guidance, applicable recruiting strategies, and best practice recommendations
- Collaborates with internal staff to develop and promote diverse sourcing channels for active and passive talent, aligning with the organization’s strategic objectives
- Proven track record of leveraging emerging technologies to develop innovative and strategic recruiting campaigns
- Coordinates with universities across California and supports and/or participates in career events
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
This Job Might Be for You If You Have The Following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-5 years of in-house/direct hire recruiting; experience within the environmental consulting field preferred, ideally with established connections
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment
- Relational, people-oriented, and has a proven track record of relationship building and developing candidate pipelines
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and tech savvy
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ChatGPT, and Teams
- Prior experience utilizing an ATS system (i.e. JazzHR, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS)
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn for networking/sourcing
- Versed in Boolean search strategies and other recruitment research tools
- Demonstrated history of creating/improving/leading recruitment processes that improve department efficiency for hiring managers and candidates experience

The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-90,000, plus benefits. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
