Job Description:
The Candidate will be working with developers who have a passion for using Ruby on Rails and other cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality applications using agile development methodologies.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
- Ruby and JavaScript development, using rails, writing tests, demonstrating work completed to Customer in meetings, providing daily status updates to team, following change management workflows, assisting help desk with debugging user issues, Presence on our internal messaging system during work hours.
Required Skills (rank in order of importance):
- Ruby, Rails, Git, JavaScript
- Web Security, MYSQL
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Test-Driven Development.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Preferred Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):
- JSON, Command line, SQL, SSH, HAML, SCSS, VUE.JS
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience working as a remote contractor.
