SEO & Content Specialist Assistant

Skrapp.io is looking for an enthusiastic SEO & Content Assistant to join our dynamic SEO team. Our ideal candidate possesses an understanding of SEO principles and has a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimising our content and link building strategy to boost organic traffic and engagement, while working closely with an SEO manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve our website’s visibility on search engines and drive organic traffic.
2. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and phrases that align with our target audience’s search intent.
3. Content Creation: Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content including blog posts, articles, landing pages, and other digital content that adheres to SEO best practices.
4. On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, structure, and meta tags to enhance search engine rankings and ensure a seamless user experience.
5. Link Building: Collaborate with the outreach team to develop link-building strategies that enhance domain authority and boost SERP rankings.
6. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze website performance using analytical tools to gauge the effectiveness of SEO efforts and content performance.
7. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to curate and refine our content strategy to align with overall business goals and audience needs.
8. Stay Updated: Stay informed on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices to continually optimize strategies.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and other teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all relevant projects.

• 1-4 years of experience in SEO and content marketing.
• Strong understanding of SEO concepts, techniques, and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published content.
• Experience in keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive approach with a passion for staying updated on SEO trends and best practices.

Contract

We only offer contractor/freelancer contracts to our team members.

Package: 24K - 30K USD / Year

Contracts come with the following benefits:

• Observance of 5 public holidays as per the contractor’s country of residence.
• Annual paid leave: 25 days.
• Monthly coworking space stipend of $100.
• Fixed salary + commissioned based on closed deals.

You will be responsible for paying for your local health insurance, and retirement plan if you wish to have one.

Work Environment We are a team of young professionals working remotely from Spain, France, UK, and the US. The position is fully remote; you will enjoy flexible working hours from anywhere in the world.
