Job description

The NOC Analyst (Network Operations Center Analyst) will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the optimal performance of all company applications, services, servers, and network devices. Additionally, the NOC Analyst will ensure connectivity between offices and with partners and allies, making sure all end-user-facing services are operational and functioning without interruptions. This role requires technical skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude to prevent.

Functions and Responsabilities

  • Continuously monitor all applications, services, servers, and network devices using specific monitoring tools.
  • Supervise connectivity between offices and with partners and allies to ensure there are no service interruptions.
  • Detect, investigate, and resolve incidents and technical problems promptly.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams or external vendors when necessary.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
  • Generate and analyze performance and availability reports of services and network devices.
  • Identify trends and patterns that may indicate potential problems and propose proactive solutions.
  • Propose and implement improvements in monitoring processes and incident management tools.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to improve network infrastructure and services.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for queries related to the network infrastructure and monitored services.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of procedures, incidents, and implemented solutions.
  • Ensure all procedures are up-to-date and accessible to the team

Job Requirenments

  • Technician or Technologist in Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in similar roles, preferably in a NOC or SOC environment.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Site24x7, SolarWinds, among others.
  • Knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Experience in server administration (Windows, Linux).
  • Understanding of network protocols and services (HTTP, FTP, SMTP).
  • OSI Model.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving orientation.

Working Hours

  • Office setting with a possibility of remote work and Rotating shifts Monday to Sunday, 247:
  • 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
  • 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
