World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO.
WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.
Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. May require availability outside standard working hours occasionally.
The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

The intake analyst will be required to review all incoming submissions, ensure all entries into our databases are made within SLA response times, complete all borrower/collateral and information, ensure all required document and information is submitted prior to the handoff to the credit department.
We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and someone who is comfortable working cross functionally with multiple business units.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor loan pipeline for submissions assigned by the team lead, review email, documents and loan details and verify everything is correct.
- Ensure that the relevant databases and trackers are updated regularly
- Conduct verification checks with relevant parties.
- Preparation of intent to proceed forms
- Follow up and coordinate with multiple business units like Finance, Sales, Title and Underwriting.
- Resolve all discrepancies, escalate as required
Requirements
Excellent command of English, written and oral.
Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Translation & Interpretation or related field preferred.
Prior data entry, lending, intake, credit, financial analysis, or a related role, especially private lending experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Effective teamwork and collaboration across departments
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, and willing to learn, research, and problem-solve independently
Ability to ask the right questions and a proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving them
Experience with CRM systems or document management tools is a plus
General comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new software
