About Accel Therapies

We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and other related pediatric therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. We support children and families in California, Texas, Idaho, and Nebraska. Our services use evidence-based methods to help children achieve developmental goals and learn essential life, communication, social, and self-help skills.

We offer personalized programs in various environments, including our centers, homes, and schools. We started in 2005 as a speech therapy clinic in Newport Beach, CA, and later expanded to include ABA therapy. We are privately owned, not by a private equity group, and we collaborate on clinical research with UCLA’s Kids Connect at the Semel Institute of Neuroscience.

We have 201-500 employees and operate in the Mental Health Care industry.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to empower every child to reach their full potential. We do this by nurturing individual strengths, using evidence-based interventions, and embracing inclusivity.

Our core values, known as ACCELL, are:

  • Achieve with integrity
  • Consider the individual
  • Communicate proactively
  • Elevate your environment
  • Learn without limits

Team & Culture

We cultivate a supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment. We believe in a “village mindset,” working closely with families, caregivers, and teammates to create lasting change.

We are committed to an inclusive and collaborative workplace that prioritizes ongoing training and career development. Our employees join a network of passionate professionals. We value dedicated individuals who bring fresh ideas, energy, and compassion, welcoming people from diverse backgrounds including pre-med and nursing students, teachers, psychology or social work graduates, speech and occupational therapy assistants, caregivers, and recent college graduates.

We offer steady, consistent full-time, daytime schedules in schools and centers, and we work to reduce administrative burdens so clinicians can focus on direct patient care.

Benefits & Perks

We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. You can participate in a 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match, vested after one year. We provide 2 weeks of paid time off and 8 paid holidays.

For professional development, we offer an annual CEU reimbursement between $750 and $1,250. Our compensation packages include sign-on bonuses of up to $15,000 and annual performance bonuses of up to $9,000, paid monthly. Many roles offer flexibility, with 1-2 work-from-home days possible per week, and a standard Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.

We foster a positive culture with frequent team events and social lunches. Employees have opportunities for long-term career growth, advancement, and involvement in research initiatives and academic collaborations, including with UCLA. We also use Bonusly, a peer recognition platform.
