- Collaborate with Designers and the design team to create packaging concepts and artwork for a variety of products.
- Review and implement packaging revisions based on feedback from internal teams, licensors, and production departments.
- Develop packaging designs that meet brand guidelines, legal requirements, and functional specifications.
- Assist in the creation and updating of product packaging, including die lines, graphics, and labels.
- Ensure designs are produced accurately, adhering to company standards and production timelines.
- Set up files for manufacturing production.
- Work with New York team members in design, development and licensing to ensure design specifications are met and the packaging is functional and cost-effective.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and design techniques to continually improve the quality of packaging designs.
- Aid with the organization of packaging files, ensuring that all materials are properly documented and stored.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-4 years of experience in packaging design (internship or relevant experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Knowledge of packaging production processes, including die lines, print production, and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for design and innovation.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with packaging sustainability and eco-friendly design practices.
- Experience working with licensing or branded products.
- Ability to set up production files for manufacturing.
