Job Description: Intermediate Architect
Cetra Ruddy is seeking Architects to work on an exciting, upcoming governmental project, as well as future cultural, institutional, and residential development projects.
We are seeking individuals with the ability to structure their own work and contribute individually to the work of the larger team. Working directly with Project Managers & other Architects on your projects, you will be expected to perform architectural assignments with general directions, but no immediate supervision.
Design & production work will be developed exclusively in Revit. If you are not already proficient working in Revit, you will need to be eager to learn, and quick to adapt. Additionally, you will be expected to be proficient in Enscape, Bluebeam, Indesign, and Photoshop. It is critical that you are comfortable learning new tools and eager to use them efficiently.
This role will be active through all phases of design projects, and the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to refine conceptual ideas, as well as an ability to develop those ideas through design to technical solutions.
You must have strong curiosity and ambition, show initiative, and demonstrate a desire to learn about, and share your knowledge of, building systems, materials, and technologies, as well as codes & standards. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

What You Will Do
- Participate in all project phases, with a primary focus on design development and construction documents.
- Provide design support for projects as necessary, including drafting and creation of initial renderings, sketching & Revit Drawings, and 3D model making.
- Prepare presentation materials, including physical and digital model making.
- Partner with the Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for the construction of the project
- Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
- Mentor and provide direction to less experienced design team members
Your Qualifications
- Professional Architecture Degree. Masters preferred but not necessarily a requirement
- 6+ years of related experience
- Licensure a plus, but not necessarily a requirement
- Demonstrated strength of technical knowledge & design sensibility
- Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling & BIM documentation tools, including Revit and the Adobe Suite
- Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio
Pay Range: The base salary will be estimated between $80,000 - $105,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience
