Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer. As an Associate QA Engineer, you will work closely with our QA team to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in software testing and quality assurance
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Create/Update automated tests in Python/NodeJS in Selenium/Playwright Framework
- Perform regression testing to verify software enhancements and fixes.
- Report bugs and issues found during testing and track them through resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Require Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of Python Programming and Jenkins.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred but not required
