About the Role
The Consultant position is responsible for providing technical, business consulting, and product expertise to clients, ensuring the successful implementation of Atlassian-based solutions. The Senior Consultant will be involved in all project phases, from inception through production release and ongoing support.
This position requires strong client interaction, the ability to anticipate client needs, and a strategic approach to aligning internal and external teams for successful project execution. The Senior Consultant should possess executive presence and be comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior leadership and key stakeholders. This position requires demonstrated ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization and to confidently lead group discussions and public presentations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Works independently as a Consultant balancing client requests and leading discussions
- Leads the client team towards excellence; with their goals in mind, while sharing and implementing best practices
- Drives continuous improvement to ensure there is a high degree of client satisfaction
- Understand our clients and provide technical, business consulting and product expertise to customers enabling comprehensive solutions to be delivered
- Identifying and developing new opportunities for our clients
- Work closely with members of the Sales Team to understand and develop the client’s vision
- Responsible for collecting business requirements from clients and translating them into technical requirements for the team to deliver on
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Atlassian products and best practices
- Obtain and maintain certification with various Atlassian products/solutions
- Learn and understand the clients vision and translate that into how E7 can guide them through that transformation
- Train clients on best practices for both everyday use and administration of Atlassian tools
About you:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is preferred
- Experience acting as an advisor/consultant on projects on large, enterprise, increased scale projects
- An Atlassian Certified Professional is preferred
- Service and process management experience
- Experience with Atlassian Products, ITIL v4, and Cloud Migration is preferred
- Previous experience in the technology services industry
- Domain experience in supply chain and corresponding methodologies

Remote Eligibility:
- Out-of-state employees should plan to visit quarterly, with travel pre-approved by management
- Employees living within 40 miles of the Troy, Michigan office must work in-office two days per week
- Employees living beyond 40 miles of the Troy, Michigan office, but within Michigan, should plan to visit the Troy office monthly
