WG is currently looking for an Audit Senior to join our rapidly growing Audit team. As an Audit Senior, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your professional career through ongoing training, collaborating with colleagues on multiple engagements, experiencing direct coaching and mentoring from our talented Audit team, and overseeing our Associate staff. You will gain exposure to various industries including Real Estate, Life Sciences, 401k, Technology, Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, and many more! In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring our clients are provided outstanding service.
Responsibilities
Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
Coordinate service activities with clients and oversee staff accountants
Successfully handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
Run large and complex engagements while supervising staff or run several smaller engagements simultaneously
Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent customer service
Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; current CPA license a plus
4+ years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
Exposure servicing a broad range of industries including, but not limited to manufacturing and distribution, technology, real estate, 401k, yellow book and life sciences
Complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
Excellent at project management and possess analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
Possess and demonstrate strong understanding and alignment with our firm’s core values of Honesty and Candor, Continual Learning, Innovation, Mentorship, Leadership, Team Player and Commitment to Client Service
