We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist &Finance Associate to join our finance team in Malta. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for finance and are eager to grow within a supportive environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:
- Manage the invoicing process for an assigned portfolio of clients to ensure timely and
accurate billing.
Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up with clients to ensure timely payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Assist in implementing efficient invoicing procedures and systems to improve workflow, including collaboration with Commercial, BI, and Tech teams as part of ongoing internal process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and customer account details.
Collaborate with the commercial department to address customer billing issues.
Perform other related duties as may be required.
Financial Management:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Accounting of revenue and expense transactions in Xero
Perform bank reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with other accounting duties as may be required.
Requirements and skills:
Based in Malta
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Great attention to detail
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g.Xero)
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or a relevant field, but candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Experience in the gaming or gambling industry (B2B) and understanding of industry-specific billing requirements are considered a plus.
