Job description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and qualifying inbound leads and supporting outbound outreach. Collaborates with Sales VPs on lead routing, trade show efforts, and meeting coordination. Supports sales initiatives through campaign outreach, lead tracking, and reporting, while working with SalesOps to streamline processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
●Manage inbound leads, ensuring responses are timely and all inbound leads are captured in the Verisys CRM system
●Qualify leads and based on the size, scope of complexity of the qualified lead, routing to the correct Sales VP
●Management of small/low-touch deals from inbound lead to closure
●Outbound calls to target organizations to support a growth in pipeline and qualified leads to be passed to VPs
●Work collaboratively with Sales VP on pre and post trade show outreach and scheduling of meetings
●Gathering contact information and input from internal team members to create email campaigns and outreach for sales and account management team initiatives
●Monthly reporting of lead conversion rates and pipeline performance
Work with SalesOps to continually optimize workflows surrounding internal approvals, pricing and contracting
Qualifications:
●Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
●Experience with customer call handling and customer-facing written communication
●Experience in delivering Verisys data and services or managing Verisys customers and users
●Demonstrated history of consistent follow-up and task ownership
●Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations or related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
●Outbound call experience
●JIRA experience
●CRM experience (Salesforce, Hubspot, Seamless AI, LinkedIn, etc)
