Job Description
We are seeking a Competitive Intelligence Summer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our Competitive and Market Intelligence team to track and analyze industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to support key business strategies.
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn about the competitive landscape in the education technology industry, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly contribute to the success of our business through supporting resources. You’ll gain valuable exposure to the tools and methodologies used to gather and analyze competitive intelligence.
As a Competitive Intelligence Summer Intern, you will:
- Conduct Market Research: Perform secondary research to collect data on competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze Competitors: Track competitor products, marketing strategies, and customer feedback to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Create Supporting Resources: Assist in synthesizing findings into clear, actionable resources such as battlecards and industry landscapes.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Learn how to utilize our CI tools to stay up to date on key competitive information and market shifts.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to provide insights that inform business decisions and drive revenue growth
This internship pays $20/hr. Estimated duration: June 2-Aug 29, 2025
Qualifications
For this role as a Competitive Intelligence Summer Intern, you must have:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in market research, competitive intelligence, and business strategy.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize data and present it clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Intellectual curiosity, team player spirit, and a desire to learn!
Preferred:
- Experience with market research or data analysis, either in an academic or professional setting.
- Familiarity with the education technology sector and current industry trends.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines.
