Job Description

Eurofins is seeking a motivated, analytically-minded, and tech-savvy Consulting Operations Strategist to support the buildout and optimization of our new Medical Device Consulting business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in a startup-like environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is passionate about bringing structure and insights to a dynamic, fast-growing team.

The Consulting Operations Strategist will be responsible for evaluating and implementing project management and analytics tools, defining operational processes, supporting service delivery infrastructure, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate across subject matter experts, sales, and operations to develop scalable solutions that drive efficiency and value across our consulting offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Implementation & Tool Integration

  • Assess Eurofins’ existing platforms and tools (e.g., ERP, CRM, project management systems) to determine suitability for consulting operations.
  • Recommend, configure, and implement systems including project management tools, resource planning tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Support the development and implementation of digital client portals and collaboration platforms.

Operational Analytics & Reporting

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that track:
  • Consultant utilization
  • Revenue forecasting and bookings
  • Service mix and profitability metrics
  • Project delivery KPIs
  • Support the development of proprietary data models and informatics solutions related to consulting engagements.

Business Process Development

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to define and standardize consulting delivery processes across service lines.
  • Document workflows for client onboarding, project tracking, service delivery, and knowledge management.
  • Assist in development of scalable operational frameworks to support growth.

Contracting & Sales Enablement Support

  • Coordinate with the sales and quoting team to structure project scopes, track proposals, and manage delivery timelines.
  • Assist in managing commercial workflows including contract templates, rate cards, and engagement tracking.
  • Partner with BD to track pipeline, client conversion, and service offering performance.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a business analyst, operations analyst, or project analyst role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project).
  • Strong Excel and data modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design workflows and implement scalable processes.

Preferred

  • Exposure to medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Familiarity with regulatory consulting or product development processes.
  • Experience integrating multiple business systems.
  • Understanding of agile project management methodologies or Lean Six Sigma principles.
