This role
Content will make up an important part of our lead generation process in Canada. We’re seeking an experienced content strategist (AKA Content Marketing Manager) to take our brand in Canada to the next level and drive our acquisition of leads organically through our content.
Reporting to the Comms & Content Lead, this role will leverage the success of our global content plans while creating a unique localized strategy for the Canadian market. You will use your copywriting and project management skills to optimise content for organic traffic generation.
Your key focus areas will be:
- Craft compelling content that aligns with the overall business objectives and content themes.
- Write and create a variety of content across the customer journey; thought-leadership reports, guides, videos, blog posts, landing pages, editorial content with PR, script writing for video and/or radio, and paid & organic social content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, website, sales, marketing) across the business to drive projects forward and meet deadlines.
- Review and edit content created by other team members or external contributors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content initiatives.
- Analyze content performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and continually optimize content strategies for maximum impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices in content marketing, and emerging media technologies.
Who you are

- Demonstrated 6+ years experience in content marketing, showcasing the ability to effectively leverage content for audience engagement and traffic generation.
- Proficiency in developing diverse content formats, such as articles, thought leadership reports, fact sheets, landing pages, and sales enablement materials, for B2B audiences.
- A strong analytical mindset with experience in defining, tracking, and interpreting content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, leads, conversions).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage priorities and delegate effectively.
- A highly motivated and adaptable individual, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and a flexible workload.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and their application to optimize content for organic reach. Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is beneficial.
