โข As a copy editor, your purpose is to support our customersโ success by ensuring our support content is clear, consistent, and effective. Youโll collaborate with subject matter experts to improve the quality, tone, and usability of knowledge articles and Community content. Your work helps us deliver a seamless, trustworthy content experience that empowers customers to solve problems with our self-service resources.

What You Get to Do in This Role:
โข Copyedit and optimize knowledge articles and Community content for grammar, clarity, readability, accessibility, and SEO
โข Maintain consistency with internal style guides, brand guidelines, and accessibility best practices
โข Collaborate with content strategists, writers, technical support teams, and product experts
โข Help refine and evolve our editorial style guide based on real-world usage and feedback
โข Review metadata, tagging, and categorization to support content findability
โข Contribute to quality review processes, editorial QA, and content improvement initiatives
โข Use content analytics and user feedback to inform editorial decisions and continuously improve content
โข Copyedit customer-facing support articles for grammar, clarity, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines
โข Flag unclear content or missing information and work with writers or SMEs to resolve issues
โข Help maintain and follow editorial checklists and templates
โข Participate in team reviews and content quality initiatives
โข Track editing tasks and turnaround times using content tools or dashboards
Qualifications:
โข 5โ7 years of professional copyediting experience, preferably with technical or support content
โข Proficiency in AP, Chicago or Microsoft writing style guides
โข Strong understanding of plain language principles and UX writing best practices
โข Familiarity with editing in a content management system (CMS)
โข Experience applying editorial style guides and working with editorial checklists
โข Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive, collaborative way
โข Basic understanding of accessibility, SEO, and inclusive language best practices
โข Excellent attention to detail

โข Experience with enterprise SaaS, IT, knowledge, or technical documentation
โข Familiarity with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other support content platforms
