Job description
Who we are
E1 (formerly EstimateOne) is a SaaS tender management platform connecting commercial builders with subcontractors and suppliers. Proudly named one of AFR’s Best Places to Work in 2025, we’re the market leader in Australia and New Zealand — and now we’re growing our 120-person team into the UK.
Our scaleup vibe keeps things lively. We’ve come a long way in 15 years, and seeing what we’ve achieved in that time gets us pretty excited for the next 15. We’re passionate about setting clear, fair expectations and delivering results, with a genuine commitment to wellness and happiness that you’ll truly experience.
We’ve been recognised twice on the AFR Best Place to Work list, so we care a lot about making sure we’re a place people want to work.
We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative to help us deliver outstanding support experiences to our Builder, Subbie, and Supplier customers.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of customer enquiries — whether via phone, email, or support cases. You’ll help resolve issues quickly, champion customer feedback internally, and spot risks or opportunities that can reduce churn and increase customer satisfaction. You’ll also play a part in sharing new features, improving internal processes, and making sure every customer feels heard and supported.
About You
You’re someone who:
- Has a proven track record of delivering great customer experiences — especially in a high-volume support environment.
- Can communicate clearly and effectively across a range of audiences and channels (written and verbal).
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others, even when juggling multiple tasks.
- Knows how to spot a potential issue and handle objections with care and clarity.
- Is familiar with (or excited to learn) CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Works well with cross-functional teams to make sure the right people get the right information.
You’re humble, hungry and smart. You’re a team player who genuinely wants the business — and the people in it — to succeed.
The ability to champion our company values matters to us; we care about our team and you’ll be joining a group of people who want each other to be happy and successful. If you’re a motivated, self-starter and passionate person, we need you in our team. To learn more about our values, check out our Nuts & Bolts (beware, it’s huge!): https://shorturl.at/eo7WO
There’s more to working at E1 than just creating game-changing technology for the construction industry. We know that to reach the lofty goals we set ourselves, we need to look after our team, our shareholders and the industry we serve.
- Choose where you work — from the office, from home, or a mix of both!
- Flexible work arrangements, including part-time options where possible
- $5,000 per year for your professional development
- $500 annual WFH setup allowance
- 5 days of entrepreneurial leave to work on your side projects
- Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary carers, 6 weeks for secondary)
- Volunteer leave
- Regular business-wide social activities (from escape rooms to online trivia)
- 2:1 matched donations to non-profits
We’re transparent about salary ranges at E1. The range for this role is $65,000–$75,000 + super depending on experience.
E1 is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a work environment which embraces and values diversity and inclusion. If you have any support or access requirements, please let us know when you apply so we can make your application process as smooth as possible.
As a Circle Back Initiative Employer, we also commit to responding to every applicant.
