Join Analytica as a Junior Data Scientist to remotely support a high-profile financial regulatory client with a data and analytics program. The ideal candidate will provide hand-on support in developing data pipelines and analytics solutions within an AWS environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field
- 3+ years’ experience in data analysis or analytical field
- Ability to extract data, transform data, manipulate data and perform analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of data concepts and experience working with data architects in the design of database schemas
- Strong skills in various data analysis and visualization tools including SQL Server, Tableau, Python, R, SAS, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with statistical tools (SAS, R) and analysis is preferred
- Experienced in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) are a plus
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public trust security clearance for the supported agencies
Responsibilities
- Provide statistical analysis and model development using programming languages
- Develop analytics solutions that are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet the expectations of the decision-makers and stakeholders
- Perform data analysis, research and data manipulation tasks
- Perform queries and interpret business data requests to create efficient queries
- Directly support users by developing advanced reporting and analytics
- Work with project stakeholders and the software development team to develop data analysis
- Assisting users in choosing data sources and discovering new methods for achieving goals
