Summary
The job is for a DeFi Trader in a cryptocurrency trading entity. The role involves building optimized strategies, keeping up with new releases in the DeFi space, and managing private keys and multiple wallets. The candidate should have strong experience with Go Lang, Rust, async/concurrent programming, node infrastructure, MEV, knowledge of major DeFi protocols, and L2 integration.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Go Lang
- Strong experience with another programming language Rust, Typescript, etc
- Strong experience with async/concurrent programming
- Experience with node infrastructure: Tendermint, Geth, etc
- Experience with MEV
- Knowledge of major DeFi protocols and their inner workings
- Experience integrating with L2s
- Knowledge of the mempool and transaction ordering
- Excellent written and spoken English, any other languages will be a plus
Responsibilities
- Forking node clients and modifying them for optimal speed and throughput
- Maintaining the health of Node/Validator infrastructure
- Writing Solidity or Rust smart contract code to add additional logic/risk management to strategies
- Leverage creative thinking and research to discover new opportunities for MEV
