Job description
The Design Production Coordinator works closely with the Graphic Designers, Production Managers, and Account Executives to oversee the timely management of creating and processing graphic production files. This position will need to export large-format print-ready graphics for print production for trade shows and special events. The Design Production Coordinator will also coordinate with Account Executives to ensure the timely approval of graphic orders based on the event production schedule.
Key Contributions of the Role
Follow design layout instructions, pay attention to detail, proofread, and work independently
Provide quality control and maintain compliance with company structural and graphic standards
Work with team members to ensure work is in alignment with client needs
Must understand the oversize print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy, and image quality are met
Good typography skills; understanding of layout and design
Work with and understand various file types, such as Vector, PDF, and Raster to prepare files for Print Production team members using digital printers
Nights and weekends may be required to accommodate show schedules and seasonal workload
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Production, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, (or similar) or 2-3 years (minimum) of experience in oversize print production graphics or trade show graphics
Required experience with the following 2D software programs:
Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and WebEx
Windows-based design environment
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work well with groups
Ability to work well under pressure and demand
Ability to adjust designs based on constructive feedback and/or customer request
Possess a can-do attitude and positive nature towards projects and teamwork
