Our projects include the Cardano blockchain, as well as other products in the areas of decentralized finance (DeFi), governance, and identity management, aiming to advance the capabilities and adoption of blockchain technology globally.

About Midnight:

Midnight is a cutting-edge, privacy-focused blockchain network designed to empower developers with zero-knowledge (ZK) technology. Our mission is to create an ecosystem where developers can build secure, scalable, and privacy-preserving applications with ease. Education is a core pillar of our developer experience, and we are looking for a Developer Education Manager to lead our efforts in educating and onboarding developers into the Midnight ecosystem.

What the role involves:

The Developer Education Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing high-quality educational content and programs for Midnight developers. You will ensure that developers have the knowledge, resources, and support they need to successfully build decentralized applications (DApps) on Midnight. This role will involve close collaboration with Developer Relations, Product, and Engineering teams to create an effective and engaging developer learning experience.

Education Strategy and Content Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive developer education strategy that aligns with Midnight’s goals.
  • Create technical documentation, tutorials, guides, and video content to help developers onboard and succeed in the ecosystem.
  • Lead the design and execution of structured courses, certifications, and learning paths tailored to different levels of expertise.
  • Continuously improve educational materials based on developer feedback and analytics.

Community Engagement and Support

  • Work closely with Developer Relations to identify knowledge gaps and create resources that address them.
  • Engage with the developer community on platforms like Discord, Stack Overflow, and Reddit to answer questions and provide guidance.
  • Support developers through workshops, webinars, and AMAs to reinforce key concepts and best practices.

Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Identify and partner with universities, coding bootcamps, online platforms, and blockchain education programs to integrate Midnight into existing curricula.
  • Work with third-party education platforms (Udemy, Coursera, edX, etc.) to distribute learning materials and expand reach.
  • Collaborate with open-source contributors to maintain and improve documentation and developer guides.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of educational content and programs.
  • Collect feedback from developers and iterate on learning materials to ensure they meet evolving needs.
  • Stay up to date with developer education best practices and emerging trends in blockchain, ZK technology, and decentralized application development.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in developer education, developer advocacy, technical writing, or a related field.
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in an accessible way.
  • Experience creating educational content such as technical tutorials, courses, or video guides.
  • Familiarity with blockchain development and an understanding of smart contract programming (Compact, TypeScript, Rust, or similar).
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product teams, and community managers.
  • Experience working with developer communities and engagement platforms (Discord, Stack Overflow, GitHub, etc.).
  • Prior experience running developer workshops, bootcamps, or hackathons.
  • A passion for education and empowering developers through structured learning experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) or privacy-preserving blockchain technologies.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms (Udemy, Coursera, edX, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience building DApps and smart contracts.

Why Join Us?

  • Influence the trajectory of Midnight’s developer community and ecosystem growth.
