Location Details: United States, Remote
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

This newly created leadership role is responsible for the oversight, governance, and execution of GoDaddy’s global tax accounting and compliance. You will ensure the integrity of tax-related financial reporting, lead the global tax provision process, and oversee internal controls, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions.
What you’ll get to do…
- Lead the preparation and review of the global tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Lead all aspects of global tax compliance, including federal, state, and international income tax filings and estimated payments
- Collaborate across tax, finance, accounting, and legal teams to assess the tax impact of business operations and critical initiative
- Forecast the Annual Effective Tax Rate and global cash taxes to support financial planning and analysis
- Coordinate with Treasury and FP&A to ensure accurate cash tax calculations
- Maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to stay current on regulatory changes
- Identify tax risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations for mitigation and optimization
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and maintain comprehensive documentation for all tax-related activities
- Support M&A and divestiture activities by analyzing tax implications and structuring considerations
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of tax professionals
- Ensure timely and accurate local statutory tax reporting and filings in coordination with external advisors
Your experience should include…
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA certification (required)
- 12+ years of relevant tax experience, including provision and compliance in a multinational environment
- Deep knowledge of ASC 740 and US GAAP tax accounting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with tax software and Workday ERP (preferred)
