The Role
We are looking to hire a Director of Corporate Development who will act as a strategic extension of the CFO. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure high-impact, and forward-looking growth opportunities, including strategic partnerships, embedded finance, and M&A activities. In this highly visible role, you’ll work with Product, Go-to-Market, Legal, and finance, ensuring the biggest opportunities get the focused leadership they deserve. You’ll take ownership of early-stage bets, bringing structure to ambiguity, and driving initiatives that shape CompanyCam’s future platform and business model.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the CFO to source, evaluate, and execute strategic acquisitions aligned with CompanyCam’s long-term vision
- Conduct market research and opportunity assessments to inform forward-thinking growth planning
- Build and maintain a prioritized pipeline of high-potential opportunities with clear milestones
- Led due diligence and integration planning in collaboration with functional leaders
- Develop business cases, ROI models, and risk assessments to guide go/no-go decisions
- Support embedded finance initiations, such as payments, homeowner financing, and contractor insurance, by partnering closely with product leadership
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to structure, negotiate, and close high-impact external partnerships, especially those with innovative or non-traditional revenue models
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partner conversations that influence platform economics or financial services expansion
- Develop financial models and deal structures that align partner incentives wtih company goals
- Act as a strategic and financial thought partner to product, GTM, legal, and finance leadership
- Contribute to annual and long-range planning by providing insights on market trends, competitor strategies, and new monetization paths
- Clearly communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes to executive stakeholders

- Shaping CompanyCam’s long-term growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives, including M&A, partnerships new market entry, and product expansions
- Bringing clarity and direction to high-potential opportunities like embedded finance, helping to define our platform’s future and unlock new revenue streams
- Acting as a trusted strategic partner to the CFO and senior leadership, influencing decisions that drive profitability and market position
What You’ll Bring
- 6-10 years of experience in corporate development, strategic finance, partnerships, or business operations
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with executive-level exposure required
- Knowledge of corporate finance, SaaS metrics, and business model design
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to prioritize initiatives and balance strategic thinking with execution
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners
- Ability to work effectively across product, level, GTM, and finance functions

Have prior experience in SaaS or fintech environments, particularly around platform or embedded finance services
Have a background in structuring and negotiating complex deals
Have familiarity with payments infrastructure and insurance (GL/WC)
Have a knowledge of embedded finance trends and monetization models
Benefits & Compensation
This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting base salary range is $185,000 - $205,000 per year and is based on experience. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
