Role Description:
As an Engineering Manager for Mission Success, you will play a critical role in delivering airgap-native software with UDS into controlled Mission Environments. You will oversee the support of innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive the success of our efforts to enhance National Defense. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and will need a deep understanding of modern software delivery.
You will be responsible for guiding a team of talented DevOps and Platform Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement while delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, is essential to ensure alignment with our company roadmap and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Hold an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of DevOps and Platform Engineers dedicated to supporting mission capabilities with UDS.
- Own the team’s deliverables, ensuring the timely delivery of scalable, highly-available products that exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Mission Heroes and Mission Managers to prioritize and manage Delivery roadmaps in alignment with Mission needs and timelines.
- Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members, helping them advance their careers and achieve their goals.
- Stay abreast of new trends, developments, and technologies to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.
Travel Expectations/Requirements: 10-25%

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience, preferably in building, maintaining, and managing platforms and infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience managing operationally oriented engineering teams, with experience in a remote, distributed environment.
- Strong technical background in DevSecOps, with experience in architecting and delivering scalable solutions using cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, while deploying cloud-native software to Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and empowering teams.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to communicate priorities effectively.
Salary Ranges:
Engineering Manager: $147,175 - $190,000
Senior Engineering Manager: $180,000 - $219,000
