Zilliant is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our fast-paced, high-impact product teams. In this role, you’ll guide a talented group of engineers building innovative SaaS solutions using technologies like React, Node.js, DynamoDB, Force.com, and more. We’re seeking a hands-on leader who loves growing teams, shipping great software, and solving complex problems with creativity and urgency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of key product features in partnership with architects, product managers, and designers.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering practices through code reviews, technical coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own team execution and help shape roadmap priorities by contributing technical insight to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.
  • Champion a high-velocity, agile environment that encourages experimentation, iteration, and customer-driven solutions.

  • A hands-on manager willing to dive into technical discussions and architecture decisions when needed.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2–5 years of experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a SaaS, cloud, or fast-growing product environment.
  • Prior experience as a software engineer, ideally with React, Node.js, or similar modern technologies.
  • Strong understanding of system design, API development (REST), and scalable application patterns.
  • Solid background in object-oriented programming and working with large data sets or high-throughput systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, DynamoDB, CodePipeline) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
  • Passion for building great user experiences and working collaboratively with UI/UX designers.
  • Experience coaching teams on best practices like unit testing, code reviews, and API documentation.
