Are you passionate about crafting intuitive, engaging user interfaces that shape the future of software? Stack Builders is seeking an experienced UI Designer to join our team on a remote, contract basis.
You will play a key role in shaping the user experience of one of the world’s largest communication platforms by leading iterative design processes—from early research and ideation to high-fidelity execution. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative, responsive, and scalable digital solutions.

🛠 What You’ll Do
- Create a wide variety of deliverables for an enterprise website, including graphics, illustrations, page layouts, animations, and other design artifacts as needed
- Work closely with UX, Content, and Engineering teams to turn design ideas and concepts into user-facing graphics and web pages
- Collaborate with stakeholders to visually communicate the benefits of our products and how they work; may include complex diagrams
- Work with the existing design system and contribute to advancing and refining it
- Translate new branding into a cohesive sitewide experience, incorporating new look and feel into web design layouts, components, and elements
- Implement responsive designs that improve the user’s experience on desktop and mobile devices
- Participate in weekly design review meetings
- Maintain current understanding of advances in design, technology, and trends, knowledge of design software capabilities and limitations
- Implement designs optimized for all screen sizes, adhering to the current accessibility standards (AA, WCAG 2.1)
🧠 Key Skills & Requirements
Design & Technical Proficiency:
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and mobile UI work.
- 3+ years in UI design with proven experience across digital products and platforms.
- Mastery of design tools, including Figma and Adobe XD, as well as graphic and vector editing software like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of basic accessibility requirements (AA, WCAG 2.1)
- Understand basic HTML markup language
- Experience with a design system
- Experience creating illustrations
- Familiarity with AEM
- Experience with Lottie, and creating animations is a big plus
Process & Communication:
- Ability to articulate and defend design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills across multicultural teams.
Agile & Research:
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Knowledge of user research methodologies, personas, and design validation techniques.

- Must reside in the United States, Colombia, or Canada.
- Authorized to work as an independent contractor.
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level).
