Role Overview:
As a Senior UX/UI Product Designer, you will lead the design of complex B2B dashboards and mobile apps, turning sophisticated event workflows into sleek, user-friendly interfaces. This includes conducting user research, designing wireframes, creating high-fidelity UI elements, and prototyping, while working closely with the product and engineering teams. Your designs will simplify AI-driven event production, financial operations, and real-time analytics for event organizers, and enhance the experience for event attendees. Experience in the event ticketing or entertainment industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Research
Conduct market research and user interviews to gather insights, translate findings into actionable product decisions.
Map user journeys, identify friction points, and enhance both event organizer and attendee experiences.
Interaction Design & Information Architecture
Design user-friendly flows for complex functionalities like AI scheduling, payment reconciliation, and analytics.
Produce user stories, task flows, and wireframes to guide design processes.
Visual & Motion Design
Craft high-quality, entertainment-focused UIs in Figma.
Create interactive prototypes and micro-interactions that convey design intent and motion.
Design System Contribution
Contribute to and refine the evolving design system, ensuring consistency across web and mobile platforms.
Document design usage guidelines for developers to ensure a seamless design-to-development process.
Usability Validation & Iteration
Plan and execute usability tests, A/B experiments, and performance reviews to gather actionable feedback.
Iterate on designs based on quantitative and qualitative insights, optimizing user engagement and task-completion rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders using Linear, GitHub, and Slack to ensure seamless execution.
Provide clear design specs, handle edge-case documentation, and offer feedback during development and QA.
Continuous Improvement
Stay up-to-date with trends in design, accessibility, and emerging technologies, especially in entertainment, fintech, and AI.
Champion best practices to drive performance, inclusivity, and overall user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience designing complex SaaS or enterprise products, with a focus on dashboards, fintech, or analytics tools.
Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design case studies, demonstrating simplification of complex workflows and visually engaging UIs.
Skills
Mastery of Figma, including component libraries, prototyping, and design-to-dev handoff.
Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, hierarchy, and responsive/mobile design patterns.
Solid understanding of front-end concepts (HTML/CSS, React, React Native) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
Experience in mixed-method research, heuristic evaluations, and data-driven iteration processes.
Bonus Skills
Passion for live entertainment or events, with bonus points for experience in ticketing or fintech design.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design rationale clearly and confidently.
