THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for an FP&A Director will report into the FP&A Vice President and will focus on the company’s financial reporting and forecasting. The candidate will provide financial analysis, metrics and generate insights that support key initiatives. The candidate will have people leadership responsibilities and will serve as a senior leader within Corporate Finance responsible for preparing and consolidating FanDuel Group financials.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead the end-to-end budgeting/forecasting process for the FanDuel group
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across Corporate Finance function to maximize the financial and strategic strength of the Group
  • Develop strong technical skills within team and across wider Corporate Finance function
  • Drive improvements in operational efficiency by streamlining processes and enhancing reporting automation
  • Provide financial decision support (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, identification of cost drivers) to ensure optimal achievement of targets
  • Brief and influence senior executives at FanDuel & Flutter on financial performance
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual business results, KPIs, trends, and provide critical business insights to the Group’s leadership team
  • Provide quantified insights and propose solutions to areas of risk and opportunity to influence business strategy
  • Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • 8 years of experience in corporate finance plus 3 years management experience
  • MBA, Accounting and other finance professional certificates (such as CFA) preferred
  • Exceptional financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to distill financial data into clear and concise insights
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Exceptional organizational and relationship building skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with Hyperion and Oracle
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $159,000 - $199,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
