RYZ is looking for a Full Stack Engineerto join our early-stage team of one of our Clients. Their mission is to reduce the administrative burden on small healthcare providers so they can focus more on patient care.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling our flagship AI-driven medical coding platform. You’ll work across the full stack—from crafting intuitive front-end experiences to developing secure, high-performance backend APIs and data models. This hands-on position gives you the opportunity to help define our technical architecture, shape the product roadmap, and collaborate directly with the CTO on strategic engineering decisions that impact real healthcare workflows.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience in a production environment with typed languages (e.g. Typescript, Go, C#, Java)
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend technologies/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, NestJS, , or similar).
- Experience designing and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, RESTful API design, and performance optimization.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, remote environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Healthcare domain knowledge or experience with HIPAA-compliant systems is a bonus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, secure, and scalable web applications using modern full stack technologies.
- Build and maintain clean and efficient backend APIs and their supporting database schemas to support healthcare workflows.
- Implement integrations with 3rd party APIs.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features into the product.
- Ensure code quality and reliability through strong testing and code review practices.
- Optimize application performance and security in accordance with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Leadership) to translate clinical and business needs into exceptional product experiences.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of our technical architecture and development processes.
- Actively participate in video calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
