DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Linguist with idiomatic fluency in German to join our team in Germany and work remotely on data curation and evaluation.
Role Summary
As a Linguist, you will curate and evaluate linguistic data, review outputs from speech models, and execute scripts for task automation. You will also provide feedback based on data analysis.
Role Responsibilities
Curate and evaluate linguistic data with accuracy and attention to detail
Review and assess outputs generated by speech models
Execute scripts via command line for task automation or data handling (running, not developing)
Provide feedback and draw conclusions based on the analyzed data
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve data quality and task processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics
Strong understanding of linguistic concepts such as phonetics, syntax, semantics, and morphology
Previous experience in similar tasks (data curation, evaluation, or linguistic analysis) is a plus
Idiomatic fluency in German
Advanced level of English
Proficiency in French or Italian is a plus
Detail-oriented with good analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
