Your role

Flip is on a mission to empower frontline workers and the companies they power - helping them work smarter, communicate better, and thrive together. And we’re looking for a storyteller, strategist, and content creator to help us do just that in the German market.

As Senior Content Marketing Manager, you’ll define and produce content that speaks directly to German HR leaders, operations leaders, and communicators - generating awareness, driving demand, and converting interest into action. You’ll lead Flip’s content marketing strategy for Germany, creating original, market-specific content and managing localization efforts where relevant. From compelling product marketing copy to powerful customer stories, you’ll balance storytelling, strategy, and SEO to show the real-world impact of Flip.

We’re searching for someone with impeccable German writing chops, deep knowledge of the German business landscape, and the curiosity and drive to experiment with new formats, tools, and AI-driven approaches. Someone who’s equal parts creative and strategic, thoughtful and fast-moving, collaborative and independent.

You will…

  • Define and execute Flip’s content marketing strategy for Germany, in collaboration with the global marketing team
  • Lead content projects that build brand awareness, generate and convert demand, and support sales enablement across the German market
  • Plan, create, and publish high-value, original content tailored to German audiences - including customer stories, blogs, landing pages, sales collateral, product marketing copy, and more
  • Interview customers and internal stakeholders to surface powerful stories and insights that demonstrate Flip’s value
  • Manage the localization of global content where relevant, ensuring messaging resonates culturally and linguistically
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to understand customer pain points, needs, and personas - and translate those into effective content
  • Optimize content for German SEO while maintaining Flip’s distinctive voice and clarity
  • Explore AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content creation speed, quality, and relevance
  • Manage freelance writers, translators, or content creators as needed

What you bring to the table…

  • Native-level German fluency (written and spoken) and strong business English fluency
  • Proven track record of creating impactful B2B content that resonates with German audiences
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in German - clear, compelling, and culturally tuned-in
  • Experience producing and elevating customer stories and case studies
  • Strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable content plans and projects
  • Strong understanding of German SEO and how content drives organic growth
  • Comfortable managing freelancers or external contributors when needed
  • Ability to work closely with sales and customer teams to align content with real customer needs and journeys
  • Curiosity and openness to experiment with AI and new technologies in content workflows
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or communications technology is a big plus

Where you’ll work…

This role is remote-first and open to candidates based anywhere in Germany. We’d love it if you’re in Berlin or Stuttgart (where our German HQ is located), but we’re flexible within Germany.
