Job Title: Graphic Designer/Video Editor

Location: Remote

Work Shift: EST

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Rate: $7 to $12/hr β€” the final rate will depend on your experience and portfolio.

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer/Video Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for creating high-quality visuals and engaging video content that align with our brand identity and support our marketing and communication efforts. You will collaborate with the marketing, product, and social media teams to produce content that resonates with our target audience and enhances our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and visually appealing graphics, including social media posts, website banners, digital ads, email templates, and print materials.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and produce designs that communicate our brand message effectively.

  • Develop branding elements and ensure consistency across all visual content.

  • Design marketing materials such as brochures, posters, flyers, presentations, and infographics.

  • Stay updated with design trends and incorporate fresh ideas into visual content.

  • Edit, enhance, and assemble raw footage into polished video content, including product demos, promotional videos, tutorials, social media clips, and event highlights.

  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to storyboard and conceptualize video ideas.

  • Add animations, transitions, and visual effects to make video content more engaging.

  • Ensure all video content meets the platform-specific guidelines for optimal performance (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).

  • Optimize video content for different formats (horizontal, vertical, square) depending on the platform.

  • Maintain and organize video assets, ensuring easy access for future projects.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team, providing insights and suggestions for improving content quality.

  • Understand and interpret briefs to create content that resonates with the target audience.

  • Continuously improve and refine design and editing skills through feedback and industry research.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, or similar role.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both graphic design and video editing.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar software.

  • Expertise in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics, animations, and 3D effects is a plus.

  • Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and editing for various social media platforms.

  • Strong visual storytelling abilities with an eye for aesthetics and details.

  • Ability to conceptualize and create designs and videos that communicate a brand’s message clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
