What are we hiring for?

We are seeking a Head of Business Development for Glider.fi, a platform for automated onchain trading. This person will own all go-to-market (GTM) and growth operations, working closely with the Founder to implement and execute business development strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys being hands-on, and brings a strong network to accelerate adoption and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth & GTM Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and growth strategy for Glider.fi, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.

  • Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key ecosystem players, including protocols, DEXs, On and Offchain Data Providers, AI Agents, Wallets, and institutional partners.

  • Lead Generation & Prioritization: Leverage existing networks and develop a structured pipeline to categorize and prioritize new leads based on strategic impact and feasibility.

  • Community & Network Building: Actively foster relationships within the Web3 community, attending industry events, engaging in online discussions, and positioning Glider.fi as a leader in the space.

  • Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Work closely with the Founder to provide feedback on market needs, customer pain points, and opportunities for product iteration.

  • Hands-On Execution: Own and drive strategic initiatives from ideation to execution, ensuring measurable impact on growth and adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem growth roles, preferably in Web3, DeFi, or fintech.

  • Network: A strong and relevant network within the crypto space, including key players in DeFi, liquidity providers, and institutional partners.

  • Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to define and implement GTM strategies while being deeply involved in execution.

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Experience in structuring and closing partnership deals, with a track record of successful collaborations.

  • Passion for Crypto: Deep understanding of DeFi, trading, and on-chain finance, with a strong desire to push the boundaries of innovation.

  • Startup Mentality: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with a bias for action and autonomy.
