What You Will Do
Chomps is continuing to grow and looking to add a Jr. Art Director to our growing Creative Team. We’re looking for a Jr.Art director who is ambitious, talented, hungry to learn (not just for meat sticks), and excited by theopportunity to create work for Chomps across all our channels and touch points. Basically, you have the design chops and desire to create amazing work. You’re a self-starter, who can get an assignment and run with it. This role will also support in the direction and creation of photography and video assets so experience in that is a plus. From print to digital to social to whatever-we-can-dream-up, this role is perfect for someone looking to learn, grow, and always challenge themselves and flex their creative skills across a variety of unique and exciting projects. We are a small but mighty team, so you will be very hands on and involved in everything.
The Jr. Art Director will support the Sr. Art Director, and Art Director in the creation of marketing materials forretail, digital, print, and so much more. The supportwill vary by project, ranging fromcomps or mockups, print ready files and layouts, and digital assets like paid ads or banners. You will report to the Sr. Art Director and work closely with the brandand marketing team to ensure your works stay connected to the efforts of the entire company. You will be vital in making sure our work is consistent and on-brand.
Responsibilities
- Support Sr. Art Director and Art Director
- Design and produce of a variety of digital and print projects, including but not limited to, social media graphics, paid ads, banners, retail signage and selling materials, and presentation designs.
- Experience or a strong understanding of digital and social platforms and types of creative most appropriate for each (ie. graphics, design, photography, animation, illustration, stop-motion)
- Ability to participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions
- Support in providing feedback and direction on video, photography and social media executions
- Maintain brand guidelines and consistently keep up to date on key trends
- Closely collaborate with eCommerce team on Chomps.com DTC and Wholesale website. Work hand in hand to design and execute dedicated landing pages, marketing pages, or improve core onsite design
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Help organize and maintain digital asset management tool to ensure the entire Chomps team and external partners are using the appropriate assets at any given time
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field required
- 0-2 years of experience in design and art direction at an advertising agency, design firm, or brand’s internal creative department preferred
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite - Specifically Photoshop & Illustrator required
- Ability to bring ideas to life through animation, video editing, illustration, etc.
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly
- Stay up to date on trends within graphic design and digital technologies
- Work quickly and manage prioritization under tight deadlines in a fun, collaborative team environment
- Experience with Figma a plus
- Experience in photography and social video capture skills a plus

Type: Full-Time, exempt
Salary Range Opportunity:
- The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 + 10% annual bonus
Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:
- Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
- Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
- In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
