Education Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.

Global InfoTek is a leader in DoD, dedicated to harnessing advanced AI technologies to drive innovation and improve solutions. We are looking for a highly knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible with natural language processing.

Position Description: The SME in Large Language Models will be responsible for providing expert guidance on developing, evaluating, writing white papers, and deploying LLMs for various applications such as text generation, sentiment analysis, chatbots, and more. This role will involve working closely with interdisciplinary teams to align LLM capabilities with business goals and user needs.

Required Technical Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write technical white papers
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of LLMs for diverse applications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of natural language processing and large language models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define requirements and specifications for LLM applications.
  • Evaluate existing LLM frameworks and recommend modifications to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct training workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to educate team members on LLM technologies and best practices.
  • Assist in building and maintaining documentation regarding LLM projects, algorithms, and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment in real-world scenarios.
  • Analyze user feedback and experiment data to refine models and improve user experience.

Required Skill:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Deep understanding of language modeling concepts, architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT), and their applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying ML solutions is a plus.
  • Previous experience in mentoring or leading AI/ML projects is beneficial.
