Job description
Millions of players interact with our games every day, and words are their first connection to the experience. Whether it’s the name of a feature, the punch of a preview, or the elegance of a rule guide, the right copy sparks curiosity and confidence.
This role sits at the heart of that magic. As a Lead Content Writer, you’ll steer the language that unites feature vision with player imagination—crafting everything from portfolio naming systems to high-stakes technical copy. Partnering with product owners, artists, mathematicians, and developers, you’ll make sure each sentence serves the story, fits the screen, and propels our strategy.
What You’ll Do:
Define, own, and evolve naming conventions for slot games, features, and campaigns, guaranteeing consistency across the entire portfolio.
Establish trademark-safe title frameworks and supervise conflict checks with legal and external counsel.
Author high-profile launch content—trailers, previews, rule sets, and bonus breakdowns—tailored for multiple player segments and distribution channels.
Architect a scalable content repository, mapping rule guides, gameplay walkthroughs, and knowledge-base assets for internal and external use.
Translate complex design logic into player-centric storytelling that inspires engagement and deepens comprehension.
Orchestrate a long-range content calendar, synchronising with product roadmaps, live-ops beats, and regulated launch windows.
Insert, test, and verify all in-game copy in XML/JSON builds; debug language-related build issues and recommend workflow optimisations.
Direct translation pipelines in Crowdin (or equivalent), enforcing voice, layout, and character constraints across 20+ locales.
Act as cross-discipline content authority, aligning messaging with maths models, UX, and regulatory guidelines.
Draft and refine technical documents (specs, compliance sheets) to meet jurisdictional standards without diluting clarity.
Curate gameplay screenshots, UI call-outs, and annotated visuals in Photoshop for pitch decks and certification packs.
What You Bring:
5+ years in iGaming or real-money gaming, with a portfolio of top-grossing slot titles and live-ops successes.
English mastery—tone-adaptive, concise, and able to shift from evocative brand voice to crystal-clear instructions.
Sustained record of writing user-facing copy spanning UI, marketing, help centres, and community channels.
Renowned naming instincts— devising hooks that increase conversion and brand recall.
Proven talent for distilling intricate mechanics into sticky, story-driven explanations.
Extreme organisational rigour—tracking stakeholder input and championing documentation hygiene.
Fluency in structured data (XML/JSON) and build environments; automation-friendly mindset.
Working knowledge of generative AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) with experience integrating AI into ideation workflows.
Advanced Photoshop chops—non-destructive editing, smart-object workflows, and asset optimisation.
Bonus Points:
Shipped titles featuring innovative slot mechanics or cross-platform features.
Hands-on Crowdin pipeline optimisation or comparable localisation systems at scale.
Experience validating content within IDEs (VS Code/WebStorm) and CI pipelines for rapid release cycles.
What you get in return:
Competitive market salary with a transparent quarterly bonus system
Flexible work model: remote or hybrid from one of our hubs
Unlimited paid vacation and bank holidays, plus paid sick leave whenever needed
Flexible schedule with full autonomy—we trust you, no micromanagement
Medical insurance coverage for you and your significant other
Financial support for life’s special moments, from big to unexpected
A team of ambitious, collaborative professionals who value growth
Sponsored access to professional training and world-class iGaming exhibitions
Employee referral bonus program—bring great people, get rewarded
This is not just a content role—it’s a storytelling one. Every word you craft becomes part of the player’s journey. You’ll be part of a passionate, collaborative team that treats language as design and copy as gameplay. No micromanagement, no endless bureaucracy—just meaningful creative work, ownership, and reach.
