About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Content Writer who has a strong background in fintech or consumer apps and knows how to communicate complex ideas in a clear, relatable way for a broad audience. In this role, you’ll help shape how Avara shares its vision, products, and stories with the world by creating engaging content that builds trust and reinforces our voice across every channel.

You’ll lead the development of marketing copy for product launches, daily social content, and strategic campaigns that connect with everyday users, partners, and the wider market. This role sits within the Marketing team at Avara and works cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Growth.

How you can make an impact:

  • Craft high-impact marketing copy for product launches, including social posts, blogs, email campaigns, and in-app copy that inform and inspire the Avara community.
  • Develop social-first ideas that drive daily conversation and amplify major announcements.
  • Generate campaign concepts and content ideas that build awareness and encourage community participation across Avara’s owned and earned channels.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, and growth teams to develop clear, compelling messaging that explains new launches and features.
  • Use performance data and audience insights to refine topics, formats, and distribution strategies so content resonates with the right audience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep Avara’s product positioning sharp and differentiated.
  • Maintain and evolve the Avara brand voice to ensure consistency and alignment across everything published.

  • You have 5+  years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or social copywriting - ideally in fintech companies or consumer apps.
  • You bring strong creative instincts and know how to generate ideas that spark conversation and drive action.
  • You have a proven ability to translate complex, technical ideas into clear, user-first writing.
  • You demonstrate excellent storytelling and communication skills, connecting product benefits to what people actually care about.
  • You take editorial ownership -  self-editing, peer-editing, and helping maintain our voice and tone across channels.
  • You bring an analytical mindset, knowing how to use social analytics and audience insights to sharpen your copy and iterate on what works.
  • You take a proactive approach, managing your own queue, prioritising requests, and spotting opportunities to improve or expand our content.
