Serving hundreds of thousands of clients in litigation and arbitration, we have prosecuted high-profile mass tort, antitrust, privacy, product liability, employment, and consumer-rights cases. Our firm also acts as plaintiffs’ counsel in high-stakes public-enforcement actions. Our mission is to achieve exceptional results for our clients, drive innovation in the practice of law, and pursue unparalleled excellence in everything we do.

Purpose: Keller Postman seeks a hard-working and team-oriented Lead Discovery Attorney with significant litigation and leadership experience to support its practice. The Lead Discovery Attorney will be responsible for performing a variety of complex tasks and overseeing other attorneys’ work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Tasks, projects, and management of others must be executed with a high level of attention to detail. This is a non-partner track position.

This position is fully remote; candidates must reside in the Central or East Coast time zone. The salary range for the position is $150,000 to $170,000 base per year, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the discovery phase of complex litigation matters, including strategy development, implementation, and oversight of document review, production, and related workflows.
  • Supervise and mentor attorneys and legal professionals assigned to discovery tasks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, associates, clients, and vendors to coordinate large-scale data collection, review, and production efforts.
  • Oversee and quality-check privilege logs, redactions, and productions for accuracy and compliance with applicable rules and protocols.
  • Draft and refine discovery-related pleadings, including Requests for Production, Interrogatories, Discovery Motions, and Responses.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for discovery-related communications with courts, outside counsel, clients, and eDiscovery vendors.
  • Identify and address issues related to electronically stored information (ESI), including data sources, custodians, preservation, and retrieval.
  • Stay current on developments in discovery law, technology, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance, including The Sedona Principles and Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) principles.
  • Perform high-level factual and legal research in support of discovery strategy and motions.
  • Develop internal best practices and playbooks to optimize discovery management across the firm.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep expertise in all phases of discovery in complex litigation, including eDiscovery tools, workflows, and legal requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing large-scale document reviews and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, DISCO, Everlaw) and comfortable working with forensic and data analytics vendors.
  • Skilled in evaluating and handling privilege issues, confidentiality concerns, and metadata integrity.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present technical or legal issues clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state discovery rules, with the ability to apply them across multiple jurisdictions.

Education/Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of litigation experience with a focus on discovery and eDiscovery is strongly preferred.
  • Prior leadership in managing document review teams or discovery workflows in large-scale litigation is strongly preferred.

Certificates/Licenses Required:

  • Must be an active member in good standing of a U.S. State Bar.
