The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the hands-on development and optimization of Mediafly’s Salesforce-based platform services, including work on our Learning Management product. This role focuses on building scalable, secure solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Experience Cloud (LWR). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and integrations, while contributing to Mediafly’s vision of leveraging AI and data-driven insights within Salesforce to enhance revenue enablement and learning experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong development skills with platform strategy and performance optimization expertise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Salesforce Development & Architecture:
- Design and build scalable, secure solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL, and custom metadata types.
- Extend and optimize Appinium’s managed packages to support AI-driven content workflows, transcription, and personalization.
- Build reusable Experience Cloud components that support Agentforce-powered coaching and guidance experiences.
- Architect and implement real-time and batch integrations with Salesforce Data Cloud for identity resolution, segmentation, and event processing.
- Support Salesforce DX workflows for metadata-driven development and deployment.
- Platform Innovation & AI Enablement:
- Collaborate on implementation of Agentforce templates, use cases, and real-time content delivery using Salesforce Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Contribute to the development of platform features that contextualize AI recommendations using first-party data and behavioral signals from Data Cloud.
- CI/CD, DevOps & Quality:
- Contribute to Git-based workflows and Azure DevOps Pipelines for deployment, packaging, and release automation.
- Write and maintain robust test classes ensuring high code coverage and reliability across Appinium’s managed packages.
- Support performance profiling, error handling, and governor limit optimization.
- Team Leadership & Best Practices:
- Lead technical design reviews, enforce Salesforce security and platform governance standards.
- Mentor developers, review code, and contribute to platform documentation and internal libraries.
- Help define and evolve internal reference architectures, component libraries, and usage patterns.
We would love to work with you if you have:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including LWC, Apex, SOQL, Flow, and Experience Cloud (Aura and LWR).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, governor limits, event-driven frameworks, and deployment patterns.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications (Required).
- Experience working with managed/unlocked packages, namespaces, and Salesforce ISV best practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud, using calculated insights, segments, and activation mechanisms.
- Solid grasp of Salesforce authentication, Connected Apps, Named Credentials, and external API integrations.
- Experience working in an enterprise CI/CD environment (Azure DevOps, SFDX, Unlocked/Managed Packages).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for building high-performance, scalable solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud, including Zero Copy access, Einstein 1 Data Layer, and Segmentation Designer.
- Familiarity with Agentforce, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and conversational AI design patterns.
- Experience building solutions that integrate with AI services (e.g., Azure AI, Deepgram, OpenAI) for transcription, Q&A, or coaching workflows.
