We are looking for experienced Lead Software Engineer & Team Lead (PHP) eager to elevate the careers in a dynamic e-commerce environment. In this role, you will

  • Design and develop high-performance tailored software solutions
  • Set coding standards and project-specific best practices to ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions, and participate in code reviews to uphold these standards
  • Take full ownership of projects, from coding and implementation to planning and completion, ensuring technical issues are managed efficiently while mentoring team members and improving team practices to ensure project success
  • Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and instruction on effective work methods
  • Introduce and implement new, relevant technologies that align with project goals and the organization’s technical direction
  • Proactively anticipate project risks and communicate potential impacts and solutions before issues escalate, ensuring smooth project delivery
  • Manage stakeholders and drive the implementation of technical solutions that align with project goals, effectively communicating insights and expertise
  • Share your expertise by delivering internal and public talks, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance organizational practices and processes
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment by providing effective feedback and promoting continuous improvement.

What will you bring

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with PHP, particularly using the Symfony framework, alongside expertise in relational databases
  • A strong commitment to industry best practices in software development and security, with a focus on maintaining high standards for coding and project guidelines
  • Active involvement in code review processes to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Experience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ or similar systems
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Ability to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, ensuring software reliability, functionality, and performance
  • Ability to adapt and apply new technologies that align with project requirements and technical strategy
  • Proven skills in requirement analysis and designing robust software solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Experience in leading people and setting career paths and goals
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding team members, fostering an environment of innovation, teamwork, and continuous professional growth
  • Proactive in identifying potential project risks and effectively communicating possible impacts and solutions to ensure smooth project execution
  • Strong proficiency in communication in both English

We consider the following experience as an advantage

  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and cloud architecture
  • Understanding of Shopware’s ecosystem, including theme and plugin development
  • Modern e-commerce platform experience
  • Understanding of the front-end technologies like React.js, Vue.js
  • Experience in building and supporting large-scale applications

Salary range:

21 280 - 31 920 PLN + VAT (B2B)

17 650 - 26 500 PLN gross (Permanent)
