What You Will Do
As the Talent AcquisitionLearner, you will play a key role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts, helping to attract and engage top-tier candidates who align with our company culture and mission. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant records. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with our People team, develop valuable recruiting skills, and contribute to building a strong, dynamic team at Chomps.
Your role as a Talent AcquisitionLearner will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a dynamic and growing organization, as well as exposure to various facets of people management, organizational development and working cross functionally with all other departments. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, receiving mentorship and guidance to help you excel in your role and lay the groundwork for a successful career in Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Talent Pool building and support
- Work with TA team on the build out of our talent pools
- Communicate with candidates to gain interest in Chomps
Cold outreach to candidates to tell them about upcoming roles
- Candidate Reviewing & Screening – Assist in identifying potential candidates through job boards, social media, and internal databases, and conduct initial resume screenings.
- Interview Coordination – Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, send confirmations, and ensure smooth logistics.
- Conduct reference checks for candidates in the running.
- Administrative & Process Support – Assist with posting job openings, handling recruitment emails, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- People operations administrative work – this can include supporting any ad hoc People Ops requests based on department needs.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Demonstrated interest in People & Culture, organizational development, or related fields.
- Previous experience or coursework in People Operations, administration
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in task execution.
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Team player mentality, with a willingness to collaborate and support other Chompian’s.
- Adaptability and flexibility, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office suite or a hiring platform like Greenhouse
- A positive and enthusiastic demeanor, with a genuine passion for learning and professional development.

Type: Part Time, non-exempt
Pay Range Opportunity:
- The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
- Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours
- This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non-exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full-time opportunity based on business needs
Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:
- Our pay ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
- Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company

If you are selected to interview with us, the interview process is as follows: Audio Interview with Talent Acquisition, Video Interview with the Hiring Manager, Case Study Presentation.
