As a Legal Counsel, you will report to our Legal and Compliance Director.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal matters related to remote gambling operations, including but not limited to licensing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, commercial contracts, data protection, and advertising.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including but not limited to licensing agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, marketing agreements, NDAs, SLAs, DPAs, EULAs etc.
Support the legal team in managing litigation matters, disputes, and potential legal risks, working closely with external counsel as needed.
Assist in M&A and corporate transactional activities, conducting due diligence and providing legal guidance on deal structures and negotiations.
Lead internal and external third-party onboarding, due diligence, Know Your Customer, and annual reviews, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations.
Assist in new market entries, application for new licences and certifications.
Stay current with developments in the remote gambling industry and contribute to the company’s strategic planning and decision-making processes
3-5 year’s experience as part of a legal team
iGaming experience is mandatory
Legal degree is mandatory
Excellent understanding of the iGaming landscape
