We started dLocal to bridge the payment gap between international businesses and customers in emerging economies. We act as a payment infrastructure, letting global merchants accept local payment methods and settle funds across borders. This helps our merchants reach billions of consumers in high-growth markets across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
We offer five main products through a single API integration:
- Payins: This lets merchants accept local payment methods, with dynamic FX conversion, cross-border transactions, no transfer limits, and various alternative and instant payment options.
- Payouts: We help businesses send funds compliantly across borders to staff, customers, and partners in their preferred currency.
- Defense Suite: This is our fraud management solution designed to reduce financial losses and protect the customer reputation of global eCommerce companies.
- dLocal for Platforms: This unifies payment solutions for global marketplaces and platforms, helping them onboard users and manage funds between multiple users in high-growth markets.
- Invoice Collection: We streamline payment collection, supporting local currency payments and handling local regulations and currency fluctuations.
In 2024, we processed $25.6 billion in payments for over 700 merchants. We support over 900 payment methods in more than 40 countries. dLocal is a Nasdaq-listed company (DLO).
