Schedule: This is a FFS 1099 position. 100% Remote.

Choose your set schedule:

  • Weekday Shifts: Work anytime from 9:00am to 9:00 pm Eastern Time
  • Weekend Shifts: Work anytime on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5pm Eastern Time

Minimum 2 hours of weekly commitment requested for the 1099 role. Ability to flex up and down depending on student volumes. Weekend and evening availability preferred but not required

Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Massachusetts, who will connect with college students seeking care for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and other concerns.

Our Psychiatrists work as independent contractors, allowing you to add to your current clinical practice or build an entire telemedicine practice depending the state(s) where you are licensed. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who share our commitment to accessible mental healthcare for college students.

Compensation:

  • Intake (60-minute) - $250
  • Follow up (30-minute) - $100

As a Psychiatrist, You Will:

  • Conduct high-quality, culturally competent, telemedicine consultations to assess the student’s medical and psychosocial needs via video, while at all times maintaining a professional and appropriate setting.
  • Treats student’s by utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications; discussing progress toward goals; providing instructions; monitoring effect of medications.
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Partner with other care team members including therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and our care operations team to support students.
  • Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.
  • Provide supervision (via collaborative practice agreements) to a small group of PMHNPs in states where full practice is not available.
  • Optional: Participate in an emergency on-call schedule (compensated and daytime only)

Who You Are:

  • A compassionate and skilled board-certified MD or DO Psychiatrist
  • You’ve successfully completed a U.S.-based residency program in Psychiatry
  • Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts (MA). Bonus points if you hold additional state licenses—we operate in all 50 states, and multi-state licensure helps us expand access to care
  • Experienced in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
  • Culturally responsive in your approach to care, with experience supporting diverse patient populations
  • Confident in assessing and responding to urgent or escalating risk scenarios
  • Tech-ready for virtual care, with a high-quality video camera and a stable internet connection
  • Passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality mental health care in a collaborative, virtual environment
