You will join theย Imunify Emailย team - the creators of a smart, automated email protection system designed to ensure clean outbound traffic and preserve IP reputation for hosting providers. Our focus is on building high-performance tools for spam detection, email infrastructure protection, and scalable deliverability.

As our Mail Systems Engineer, you will:
- Design the core architecture of the Postfix/Exim worker nodes.
- Write and maintain the advanced MTA configurations that handle mail routing and IP binding.
- Implement the logic for dynamic IP selection using techniques like Postfix’s transport_maps and multiple transports, or Exim’s routers and transports.
- ะขroubleshoot complex email delivery issues, analyze bounce messages, and optimize MTA performance for high throughput.
What you bring:
- Expert-level knowledge of Postfix or Exim - far beyond basic setup.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, high-volume email clusters
- Deep understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and feedback loops (FBLs).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Bash) for MTA-related tasks.
- Knowledge of C is a great advantage.
- English proficiency - upper-intermediate and higher.
