The Medical Information Lead is a dedicated, self-motivated, and scientifically driven individual expected to lead Medical Information operations. This key player will serve as the sole person responsible for managing and optimizing daily operations while ensuring adherence to global regulatory requirements.
In this global, customer-facing role, the Medical Information Specialist will support medical inquiries from healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers related to Telix’s products, ensuring responses are accurate, compliant, and delivered in a timely manner. The Medical Information Lead will be expected to maintain relevant therapeutic area and product knowledge to support the effective communication of highly complex scientific information. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical writing and organizational skills, the ability to independently lead complex projects, and the judgment to delegate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams (e.g. Medical Affairs, Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, Clinical Development and Operations, Product Development).
Key Accountabilities:
- Medical information operations – track, field, and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries. Summarize metrics and regularly report trends / insights for internal insights.
- Medical writing– drive content development of Standard Response Letters, literature summaries, and related medical communication deliverables. Develop visually appealing slide decks to effectively convey complex scientific information; create supporting graphics, tables, figures, etc. Lead organization and updates to core slide decks. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Literature surveillance– lead and perform regular literature searches; read, interpret, track, and succinctly summarize relevant publications. Support literature repository organization. Contribute to competitive intelligence and strategic insights.
- Medical editing / review of deliverables– perform thorough reviews of materials for accuracy (i.e. source verification) and consistency (of both content and style / format) within and across related documents. Format to established guidelines. Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Internal education – Monitor medical inquiries and market trends to proactively identify the need for new or updated content and training materials; support internal training for accurate and consistent external communications.

Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree with a focus in life sciences or other relevant concentration (required); Graduate degree or other relevant advanced degree required, PhD (preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant scientific or medical writing experience required.
- Prior medical information / education experience a plus.
- Industry, pharmaceutical, or related experience in a regulated environment a plus.
- Oncology and/ or nuclear medicine therapeutic area experience a plus.
- Ability to critically read, interpret, and communicate complex ideas from scientific literature including peer-reviewed manuscripts and regulatory documents (e.g. protocol, investigator’s brochure, clinical study report).
- Highly skilled with using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and reference managers. Experience with EndNote, visual presentation tools, automation and efficiency tools (AI), and statistical analysis software are a plus.
