We help reverse metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and obesity. Our program uses a nutrition-first approach, offering personalized plans and expert support through a mobile app. The goal is to reduce or eliminate the need for medications.

Founded in 2014, Virta Health has raised $360 million. Our members have collectively lost over 1 million pounds. On average, after one year, individuals in our program lost 31 lbs, reduced their diabetes medications (excluding metformin) by 63%, and saw an average A1c reduction of 1.3.
